Ahmad is from Ngaski town, Ngaski local government, Kebbi State. He had his Bachelor Degree in English Language, at Usmanu Danfodio University Sokoto and had his National Youth Service in Zamfara State between 2008 to 2009.
Before his degree program, Ahmad has had NCE in English/Social Studies at Shehu Shagari College of Education, Sokoto in the year 1999. In 2002, he got his first appointmentas a teacher with Sokoto State Arabic and Islamic Education Board, and after more than a decade of good service delivery, he rose to the position of Principal Education Officer, which he holds up till date.Between 2007 to 2008, he served as an Associate Editor of Zamfara state Based News Paper, Visible Watch, before his appoinment in 2009 to become the Editor-in-chief of the People’sVanguard Magazine.
Over the years, Ahmad has also served in various capacity with different government and non governmental agancies like ICare &USAID.
In 2017, he obtained a Post-Graduate Certificate on Early Grade Literacy Skills at Florida State University in the United States of America. And in the same year, he started part time work with NANA Girls and Women Empowerment Initiative as G4H, classroom facilitator. However, in 2018, the National Teachers Institute (NTI) appointed him as one of it BDP facilitators in the Department of English Language, at the Sokoto Study Centre.
Later in 2019,he became NANA’s media expert before his present appointment as the Communication Officer of the Women Voice & Leadership Nigeria Project.
