Our Definition of Community Engagement

Our Approach on Community Engagement

At NANA, we foster meaningful community engagement through inclusive and collaborative practices that build trust and drive impact. Our approach includes:

📌We create safe spaces for open conversations where community members feel heard, respected, and valued.

📌We collaborate with local groups, businesses, and individuals to achieve shared goals. Some of the groups we’ve supported have evolved into active Community-Based Organizations (CBOs).

📌We organize meetings, trainings, and programs that involve community members in decision-making. For example, when planning adolescent training sessions, both the community and NANA co-design the process together.

📌We actively listen to communities to understand their priorities and tailor our programs to address their real concerns and aspirations.
