Is a lecturer with the Department of Pharmacology and Therapeutics Usmanu Dan Fodiyo University Sokoto. He has experience and interest in maternal and child health. He worked with the Kebbi state government, Doctors without borders (MSF), and several organizations on fieldwork in maternal and child health projects. He has been participating as a volunteer Medical Doctor in several outreaches, and disaster relief programmes in surrounding villages and communities in both the Kebbi and Sokoto states; under the umbrella of the Nigerian Medical Association. He also served as a consultant and provided coordination and supervision of oversight and validation functions on the SURE-P MCH programme in the North-West zone of Nigeria. He also can coordinate and conduct research, and was involved in many researches including the most recent TETFUND sponsored research on COVID-19
