Jamila Musa Abdullahi holds a degree in education economics and has nine years of working experience with non-governmental organizations. She is passionate about working with young girls and women to make a difference in their lives. She possesses an excellent ability to motivate others. She is a member of the Nigerian Institute of Management Chartered (NIM). She has worked as a Long-term engagement consultant with a DFID-funded program partnership for reviving routine immunization in Northern Nigeria-Maternal and Newborn Child Health Initiative (PRRINN –MNCH) saddled with the responsibility of mentoring and coaching the affairs of young women support groups in three clusters. Jamila has also worked as Program Assistant with a DFID-funded program Women for Health (W4H). Her main task was to assist, motivate, and support girls from underserved communities to get enrolled in Health training institutions to become midwives and nurses. She also worked for four years as a state program officer at Girls for Health (G4H), a program funded by the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation and managed by NANA Girls and Women Empowerment Initiative Sokoto state. She is responsible for providing technical support and ensuring quality program implementation.Working with Girls and Young Women through mentoring, coaching support, and capacity building. She is currently the Social Behavioural Change Officer (SBC) for the JHPIEGO-MCGL Project.
